On my previous article (Published in daily Nawa-i-Waqt) about Delhi Peace Conference many liberal and enlightened persons have objected that persons like me are a hurdle in Pak-India friendship. According to them we should accept superiority of India because we cannot face it. They say that, “Time has proved that Two Nation Theory was one of the biggest allusion of last century and partition of 1947 is the actual cause of all the problems of Muslims of subcontinent. Everyone is being punished for this in the name of freedom.”
All these pro-Indian enlightened people are advised by to migrate to India; there very soon they will know the reality. The persons who like slavery cannot enjoy freedom.
Let us now come towards the two big media groups of both countries busy in struggle to bring people of Pak-India closer and establish peace in the name of “Aman Ki Aasha”. They think that when pressure of public will increase the rulers of both countries will be forced to ignore mutual disputes and in this way wishes of public will force governments to come to friendship.
Definitely “Aman Ki Aasha” is a good try. Especially the song that was composed of lovely melodies…

This is a song of an Indian film “Roja”. That movie was prepared on propaganda against Pakistan based upon hatred and was a cause of hurting Pakistani public’s feelings. However that is upon the will of both media groups whatever they name their efforts. But this effort has two basic shortfalls:
1. The people of both countries have not been told about the disputes which have created unending crisis between both countries and have forced both countries at the brink of Deadliest nuclear War. This should be told to the public that have Muslims forced Lord RadCliff Boundary Commission to include areas having Muslim majority of central Punjab and cause the worst massacre and biggest migration? In the number of thousands those women are still alive who have been kidnapped by Sikhs and Hindus during migration and riots. After partition had Pakistan forced India to capture Kashmir having 95% Muslim Population? After this whatever happened in Eastern Pakistan, now no matter we take our people responsible for fall of Dhaka for our political needs, but had not India Established Mukti Bahni? The majority of Mukti Bahni did not consist of regular Indian army? If you want to know the truth read the book “The India Doctrine” written by Barrister of Bangladesh Supreme Court M.B.I. Munshi. After reading this one will know about what was India’s role in fall of Dhaka. And is not now same game being played in Balochistan? Few days ago Chinese Secret Agencies have warned Pakistan that Indian RAW is planning to highjack Pakistani Air Lines to Kandahar along with Bloch Liberation militants so that Balochistan freedom campaign could be taken to international law. And a feeling of insecurity of Pakistan could be reinforced.
2. Through the efforts of both media groups for peace this confusion has been strengthened that perhaps rulers of both countries are not ready to ignore disputes and establish friendship while this is totally wrong. Pakistani rulers are always ready to sacrifice security and integrity of Pakistan for friendship with India. “If we had not helped India God knows what have been the condition of India.” These are the words of chief of Floor of the House of Pakistani Parliament. Have not our rulers handed over the lists of Freedom Fighters Sikhs to India and given a proof of our friendship? Do not our rulers talk about having a mutual Currency for both countries? India is busy in creating cheap electricity by building dams and deprivating Pakistani from its legal part of water. While here whole Pakistan has been engulfed by darkness. The Pakistani rulers do not dare to say harsh words or even make any protest or issue statements for expressing feelings of Pakistanis. Can there be a bigger sacrifice then this for friendship? We are so much blind in our politeness that in spite of all the proofs that India is helping terrorists in NWFP and involved in armed interference in Balochistan but we still beg for peace talks with India.
While mentioning the peace process let us talk little about painful story of 22 year old Nilofer Jaan and her sister-in-law 17 year old Aasia belonging to Shopian district of held Kashmir. That how Indian beasts made them a victim of gang rape before martyring them and then threw their bodies in the abandoned jungle. While Indian Foreign Minister showed extremes of shamelessness and boastfulness, blamed Kashmiri Mujahideen for this act and arrested many innocent Kashmiri boys. The Muslims of India are sad due to this incident but majority of Pakistanis do not know about it. It is clear when our media will be busy in singing songs of “Aman Ki Aasha” how can such news get published?
It is the incident of 29th of May 2009. After completing work at home 22 year old Nilofer went to collect wood at the back of her house along with her infant son, while her sister-in-law Aasia also accompanied her. Aasia was youngest in her home so she was much beloved and intelligent in her studies. She had won Gold Medal few weeks ago by taking first position in Matriculation exams under State Board of Jammu and Kashmir. Now she was waiting for new educational session so that she can continue her education in college. She used to help in house work and accompany Nilofer when she went to collect wood in Jungle.
Nilofer and Aasia were breaking dry branches of trees and gathering in the form of a heap while playing with each other. When enough wood was collected Nilofer looked at her watch. It was 6:30 pm. Nilofer called Aasia that it has been too late so they should return back to home. They divided the wood in two bundles and started their journey to home with bundles of wood on their heads. After returning back to home Nilofer had to go to doctor with her husband. She was pregnant of two months. Everyone used to pray that Allah gives him another son but she wanted a girl intelligent like Aasia.
They had walked a few steps that suddenly few Indian soldiers appeared. They were asked to stop. Right at that time the mobile of Nilofer rang up. Phone was in the hands of Aasia, her brother Shakeel was calling. Aasia handed over the phone to Nilofer. Nilofer told her husband that they have been stopped by some Indian soldiers and they will return back to home soon. Nilofer also told names of Indian soldiers by reading it from their name plates on their shirts. “Balbeer”, “Shankar”, “Dara Singh” and “Ram”, after telling these names Nilofer hanged up the phone/mobile. Shakeel had not known that he will not be able to listen to his wife’s voice again.
Indian soldiers demanded ID cards. Although they knew that women never take their ID cards with them. Upon not producing the ID cards they asked what they have hidden in bundles of wood. Nilofer told them that it is dry wood and it was clearly seen. The Indian soldiers who were 15 in number ordered them to go the nearest army camp show them that what is in the bundles. Girls rejected this and some of the soldiers ordered them to move on the gun point. How can these weak and innocent girls stand against beast in uniform? They went to their camp. When they arrived into the camp more then 40 soldiers were already present their. Aasia started crying. Nilofer did not lose courage and was replying to the soldiers. She opened up the bundles on the earth and showed them to the soldiers.
Nilofer tied up the bundles again and picked them on to their heads to leave, but a soldier threw the bundle from her head with the barrel of rifle and asked them to go to the room for body search. They rejected as they had understood intentions of Indians. On the signal of their officer few soldiers came forward and pulled them into the room. When girls started yelling they put the cloth in the mouth of the girls and tied them up.

On the other hand Shakeel has sensed the seriousness of the situation so he informed his neighbors. Whole village went to jungle to search for girls. After long search he was unable to meet his wife and sister. However the presence of army’s patrolling party was proved. The respected influential people of village gathered and went to the police station and once again went to the jungle to search for girls along with Police. They could not find them because Nilofer and Aasia were not in jungle. Indian Police was not ready to go to the Army camp. Villagers told police that both girls will be in the camp but they were not ready to go there. At least at 2 am they returned unsuccessful.
In the Army Camp Indian beasts fulfilled their lust with girls till 3:50 am. Tears of both girls have been dried up, open eyes were watching in the space. At that time a dog in uniform realized that bodies of both girls have been already paralyzed but now there eyelashes have also stopped. Nilofer and Aasia were martyred due to severe sexual torture. Or perhaps due to shame their souls have left their bodies. Now Indians got worried that how should they hide the bodies of these girls. Some were of the view that like before they should buried while camp incharge was not ready to take that risk. At least they threw the bodies on bank of a stream. But in their lust and beastfulness they forgot that the cloth which has been pushed into the girls mouths had sign of Army Unit.
Next day when the dead bodies of Nilofer and Aasia were discovered whole village drowned into sorrow. Like the fire of jungle the news spread in the whole occupied Kashmir. Protests were started but it became more severe when a reporter of SANA news published the report of torture and gang rape with Nilofer and Aasia with reference to an eyewitness. Although the name of eyewitness was not published but Indian soldiers have known that which soldier has not only stopped them from such barbaric act but has also gone on leave. The soldier “Gorakh Mukh” was murdered by unknown person in his village “Raj Pur Kotla” in Eastern Punjab on the 2nd day of publishing of this report. But the story of murder of two innocent girls through gang rape has been published. You cannot find such example of torture and violence in history. Where are those supporters of “Raam Ki Aasha”, why they have not given importance (equivalent to the news of actress of Bollywood) to such a cruel act of gang rape and murder of innocents? And then they wish that 18 billion Pakistanis becomes slave to India just for their wish? They (Pakistanis) should sing songs of Indian secularism so that India can get seat in UNO? Till then “Aman Ki Aasha” has not got ripened that Indians murdered their wishes who speak “Bharat Ki Bhasha” by not purchasing Pakistani cricketers in IPL. This is not just a slap on the mouth of Pakistani Cricketers who go every year to India to earn money but also lesson pro-Indian liberal sects of Pakistani society.

Like cruelty there is also limit of being senseless. If India has broken all limits of torturer, barbarism and violence then we Pakistanis have also broken all the limits of senselessness. Whatever happened on these two innocent girls of Shopian we Pakistanis neither have any sorry over it nor any protest have been launched on any level. This behavior of our senselessness and coldness has encouraged India to violate human rights in held Kashmir. On the contrary Indian actors have rejected Pakistani in IPL. Whole Pakistan got jolted. The anger of Pakistanis is unstoppable. Especially the anger in cricketers is worth seeing as they have been awakening from a deep sleep, that India is our chronic enemy. There are demands to ban Indian channels and programs, movies on cinemas even diplomatic relations. However even in this modern name no matter on the name of game they do not feel ashamed for presenting themselves for sale.
Alas! We had shown reaction and anger over the discovery of mass graves in Held Kashmir. Even some groups tried to protest again it; Aasima Jahangir spread rumors about discovery of mass graves in Swat that Pakistan army is involved in burying Taliban alive or their mass murders. The style of her statements was such as she had herself dug up such graves.
If we had shown a little reaction over routine incidents in Held Kashmir like Shopian definitely India had not dared to disgrace our cricketers in IPL. Yes! When a nation crosses the boundaries of senselessness then disgrace and disrespect becomes its fate.
However we will call it bad luck that when an incident like Muzaffargarh of “Mukhtiaran Mai” occurs (about its authenticity and being true people of this area express doubts, some people and an NGO has utilized it to defame Musharaf Govt.) then a women rebellious to relgigion like “Aasima Jahngir” takes it with her becoming torch bearer of women rights. Yelling in the whole world, “People of world see! Help us, stop violations of women rights in Pakistani society. For which the main cause is Islam, if it is not stopped then no women of world will be safe”. But when daughters of Kashmir protest against state policy of gang rapes or women of Assam besiege police station being and nude yelling Indians they are their daughters, mothers, sisters, come and mutilate them then torch bearers of human rights put fingers in their ears and close their eyes. At least why? Is there any answer to this from torch bearers of human rights?
Whatever happened to Nilofer and Aasia you have read before? Although Pakistan remains silent over the violence and rapes of daughters of Kashmir but Valley of Kashmir is echoing with slogans of freedom. Let us see what happened in Kashmir after incident of 30th November 2009 in District Shopian. Above mentioned case of murder through rape is the only case of the world in which in order to change the sensitivity and seriousness of case, not only postmortem of deceased have been taken four times but a Lady Doctor tried to prove Aasia as virgin in Postmortem report after giving her own test results but had to disclose this lie after being forced from her own conscious. Actually when police denied to register case District Bar of Shopian contacted the court. On the order of court Police registered a case against unknown persons without talking about the sexual abuse/rape. After registering FIR they arrested innocent husband of Nilofer that this is an incident of murder for respect. As a proof the report of postmortem was also issued top police according to it Aasia was a virgin till her death and there were no signs of torture on the bodies of girls. As soon as that report was published people of Shopian came to roads for protests. The protests were so severe that Police had to fire the bullets. In this one student was martyred while 15 others injured.
Although Indian govt. had already murdered Indian soldier Gorakh Mukh who told the truth to the representative of SANA news but the murder of student was the first martyrdom for the justice. After this Curfew was imposed but ignoring the threat to their lives female students of Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School Shopian came to the roads. From the young girls of second class to girls of 10th class participated. Army remained with these young students but they did not dare to stop or shoot them. They all were demanding justice for their hardworking student Aasia. These students protested whole day on roads and returned to their homes at the sunset. On the 10th of June the students of Aasia’s school were not alone. In order to support them the students of all female schools and colleges of Held Kashmir came to roads. Male Students and other Kashmiris also accompanied them.
As the situation got out of control Delhi govt. formed a commission of three members under leadership of retired Justice Muzafar Ahmad. At this the wave of protest decreased because there was a hope that they will be given justice. When commission started investigation first of all the lady doctor who conducted the postmortem disclosed the facts. She told the commission that Commandant of Army Camp called her and threatened her of the same what occurred to Aasia and Nilofer on the 29th,s if she does not prove Aasia virgin in postmortem. As she got worried she herself got examined from her colleague and printed the report with Aasia’s name. in this report the cause of Aasia’s death was due to suffocation. After statement of lady doctor commission ordered re postmortem of Aasia and Nilofer. In the second report sexual torture was proved. Kashmiris got convinced that investigations are going in the right direction.
Inquiry commission submitted report of 400 pages in the first week of September to the Indian govt. On 12th September so called interior ministry of Held Kashmir told media that Justice Muzafar Ahmad has considered the possibilities of security forces being involved in it and has demanded further investigations but according to commission there are possibilities that the murder is a result of family quarrel. As soon as this report got published a series of protests started in Shopian and moreover in other districts of Held Kashmir as well. In order to control these protests within 4 days 1o Kashmiris were martyred however protest could not be stopped. On 17th September leader of ruling party Congress Sonia Gandhi arrived to Srinagar on a two days visit and announced that the investigations of Aasia and Nilofer’s murder will be conducted by Central bureau of Investigation CBI. Puppet govt. of Held Kashmir gave hopes to the people of Kashmir.
3rd postmortem of Aasia and Nilofer was conducted. Again the statements of witnesses were collected. The lady doctor who conducted first postmortem had been disappeared. She had left the job or had been disappeared by security agencies. After ten days another postmortem was conducted. This time a board of doctors from New Delhi was called. On the other hand the protests were continued but limited to placards against India. That was going like that on 16th December 2009 indian Interior Minister arrived District Shopian. There he severely condemned gang rape of two girls and following rules of Kotla Chankiya he blamed freedom fighters for this and ordered Police to arrest them. He said these freedom fighters heave tried to defame Indian army by adopting policy of rape of Kashmiri women. After the statement of Chadam Baram Kashmiri People came to roads. On 17th December Police opened fire on peaceful protestors. 4 persons were martyred including one lawyer and a doctor and curfew was imposed. District Bar called for a three day strike and demanded that the investigations of murder of the girls should be done through UNO. They accused Indian army and govt. in a letter to the Secretary General of UNO that they are trying to safeguard Indian beasts of army camp through CBI. They also appealed to international organization of lawyers to come forward and help them to get justice.
Here the question is that just on the demand of Kashmiri people will UN investigate such barbaric incident? It is impossible until human rights organizations pressurize UNO and why will they do it, when important party of this dispute i.e. Pakistan is silent to the limit of shamelessness. Neither any social organization has dared to protest against it nor any political leader issued simply a statement condemning this incident. The condition of UNO is that few years ago in an intellectual meeting (which has nothing to do with Kashmir) Indian intellect Arun Dhati Roy was called on the stage. She told the story of tortures and violence on Kashmiri women such comprehensively that every body silently listened to her. She called the representatives of Time and NewsWeek sitting in the audience as dealers (of Brothel house) who hide the facts of violation of human rights and state policy of gang rapes of women of Kashmir and mass murders and try to convince the world that India is very enlightened. The representative of UN present their got much influenced and announced that UN will send a special mission to know the facts in Held Kashmir. On this announcement audience clapped for 5 minutes to praise it. On the second day with the announcement of UNO the statement of India slapped the world that India is not going to issue any Visa to such delegation of UNO. However India accepted for the visit of Aasima Jahangir and that delegation of UNO will consist on of Aasima Jahangir. After this Aasima Jahangir visited Held Kashmir via New Delhi, where she could not find any torture or violation of human rights. Her report has not been published for general public which was submitted by one member delegation of UNO as the reply of Arun Dhati Roy’s accuse. After Aasima Jahangir returned to Pakistan when journalists tried to ask her about the visit she replied, “I am not bound to reply to you, I have represented my report to UNO. You should contact UNO”. Now readers can decide themselves that when within ourselves such influential persons or media groups are present who try to hide cruel, in spite of stopping or condemning human right violations they claim that India is a peaceful country and then wish that there should be peace after crossing limits of torture then how is this possible. The persons supporting “Aman Ki Aasha” just this could be said in the words of a poet…

Once a promising protégé for the United States, Brig. Sultan Amir, who is known as Col. Imam, has taught insurgent tactics. A United States-trained former colonel in Pakistan's spy agency, he spent 20 years running insurgents in and out of Afghanistan, first to fight the Soviet Army, and later to support the Taliban, as Pakistani allies, in their push to conquer Afghanistan in the 1990s.Today those Taliban forces are battling his onetime mentor, the United States, and Western officials say Colonel Imam has continued to train, recruit and finance the insurgents. Along with a number of other retired Pakistani intelligence officials, they say, he has helped the Taliban stage a remarkable comeback since 2006.In two recent interviews with The New York Times, Colonel Imam denied that. But he remains a vocal advocate of the Taliban, and his views reveal the sympathies that have long run deep in the ranks of Pakistan's military and intelligence services.Despite Pakistan's recent arrest of several high-level Taliban commanders, men like Colonel Imam sit at the center of the questions that linger around what Pakistan's actual intentions are toward the Taliban. American and NATO officials suspect that retired officers like Colonel Imam have served as a quasi-official bridge to Taliban leaders and their rank and file as well as other militant groups.Now retired, Colonel Imam (his real name is Brig. Sultan Amir) lives in the garrison town of Rawalpindi, just yards from the Pakistani Army headquarters.In the interviews, Colonel Imam denied any continued link to the Taliban. But he admitted that some "freelancers" — meaning former Pakistani military or intelligence officials — might still be assisting the insurgents.
If Colonel Imam personifies the double edge of Pakistan's policy toward the Taliban, he also embodies the deep connection Pakistan has to the Afghan insurgents, and possibly the key to controlling them.Once a promising protégé for the United States, he underwent Special Forces training at Fort Bragg, N.C., in 1974, learning in particular the use of explosives, and he went on to do a master parachutist course with the 82nd Airborne Division.On his return to Pakistan, he taught insurgent tactics to the first Afghan students who fled the country's Communist revolution in 1978, among them future resistance leaders Gulbuddin Hekmatyar and Ahmed Shah Masood. He then worked closely with the C.I.A. to train and support thousands of guerrilla fighters for the Afghan resistance against the Soviet Army throughout the 1980s.
Once the Soviets were pushed out, the Taliban emerged and Colonel Imam, then serving as a Pakistani consular official in Afghanistan, provided critical support to their bid to rule the country, Western officials said.
By his own account, he was so close to the Taliban leader, Mullah Muhammad Omar, that he visited him in the days after the Sept. 11 attacks, and left only when the American bombing campaign began later in 2001. He says he has not returned since. His parting advice to Mullah Omar, he said, was to fight on, but stick to guerrilla tactics.Today, Colonel Imam speaks highly of the Americans he worked with. But he predicts failure for the United States in Afghanistan. While his views are clearly colored by his ardor for the Taliban cause, they also carry the weight of someone who knows his subject well.

A United States-trained former colonel in Pakistan's spy agency, he spent 20 years running insurgents in and out of Afghanistan, first to fight the Soviet Army, and later to support the Taliban, as Pakistani allies, in their push to conquer Afghanistan in the 1990s.Today those Taliban forces are battling his onetime mentor, the United States, and Western officials say Colonel Imam has continued to train, recruit and finance the insurgents. Along with a number of other retired Pakistani intelligence officials, they say, he has helped the Taliban stage a remarkable comeback since 2006.In two recent interviews with The New York Times, Colonel Imam denied that. But he remains a vocal advocate of the Taliban, and his views reveal the sympathies that have long run deep in the ranks of Pakistan's military and intelligence services.Despite Pakistan's recent arrest of several high-level Taliban commanders, men like Colonel Imam sit at the center of the questions that linger around what Pakistan's actual intentions are toward the Taliban. American and NATO officials suspect that retired officers like Colonel Imam have served as a quasi-official bridge to Taliban leaders and their rank and file as well as other militant groups.Now retired, Colonel Imam (his real name is Brig. Sultan Amir) lives in the garrison town of Rawalpindi, just yards from the Pakistani Army headquarters.In the interviews, Colonel Imam denied any continued link to the Taliban. But he admitted that some "freelancers" — meaning former Pakistani military or intelligence officials — might still be assisting the insurgents.
If Colonel Imam personifies the double edge of Pakistan's policy toward the Taliban, he also embodies the deep connection Pakistan has to the Afghan insurgents, and possibly the key to controlling them.Once a promising protégé for the United States, he underwent Special Forces training at Fort Bragg, N.C., in 1974, learning in particular the use of explosives, and he went on to do a master parachutist course with the 82nd Airborne Division.On his return to Pakistan, he taught insurgent tactics to the first Afghan students who fled the country's Communist revolution in 1978, among them future resistance leaders Gulbuddin Hekmatyar and Ahmed Shah Masood. He then worked closely with the C.I.A. to train and support thousands of guerrilla fighters for the Afghan resistance against the Soviet Army throughout the 1980s.
Once the Soviets were pushed out, the Taliban emerged and Colonel Imam, then serving as a Pakistani consular official in Afghanistan, provided critical support to their bid to rule the country, Western officials said.
By his own account, he was so close to the Taliban leader, Mullah Muhammad Omar, that he visited him in the days after the Sept. 11 attacks, and left only when the American bombing campaign began later in 2001. He says he has not returned since. His parting advice to Mullah Omar, he said, was to fight on, but stick to guerrilla tactics.Today, Colonel Imam speaks highly of the Americans he worked with. But he predicts failure for the United States in Afghanistan. While his views are clearly colored by his ardor for the Taliban cause, they also carry the weight of someone who knows his subject well.
